Spring Materials
Stainless Steel X10CrNi18-8 (V2A)
Stainless wire per EN 10270-3. Austenitic steel with good corrosion resistance, suitable for humid, marine and mildly chemical environments. Operating temperature −200 to +250°C. Springs are supplied dry.
Other materials — Inconel, Incoloy HT800, copper beryllium and spring bronze — available on request.
Winding Direction
Standard winding is right-hand. When installing, the applied torque should wind the spring tighter. Left-hand springs available on request.
Leg Form
Leg form codes follow Febrotec / DIN EN 15800. Form 1 = short tangential leg; Form 2 = straight radial leg; Form 3 = long tangential leg. The leg angle specifies the angle between the two legs in the unloaded state.
