Spring Materials

Stainless Steel X10CrNi18-8 (V2A)

Stainless wire per EN 10270-3. Austenitic steel with good corrosion resistance, suitable for humid, marine and mildly chemical environments. Operating temperature −200 to +250°C. Springs are supplied dry.

Other materials — Inconel, Incoloy HT800, copper beryllium and spring bronze — available on request.

Surface Finish

Spring steel springs are supplied oiled. Stainless steel springs are supplied dry.

Winding Direction

Standard winding direction is right-hand. When viewed through the spring axis, the wire moves away clockwise.
